According to latest News, Volotea retired their last B717 on sunday, the 10th of January 2021, after the last service arrived in Venice. This marks the end of the B717 history in Europe as Volotea was the last operator flying this aircraft type on a regular base in Europe. The spanish carrier took delivery of their first 717 in December 2011 and operated up to 19 of them at once in peak times. Last week’s retirement leaves Volotea now behind as “single type airline” as they only operate the A319 now😢
