Handley Page Victor XM715 is seen here on the August 2011 Cold War Jets day at her home, Bruntingthorpe aerodrome. Kept to a fast taxi condition, she was a star of the popular twice a year fast taxi days held there. Sadly it appears these days are over, with the new owners leasing Bruntingthorpe for more car storage & the jets have all been relegated to static display only. Painted in the Gulf War Op Granby colours. Starting life as a Victor B.2 Strategic bomber, first flying in December 1962, following the types withdrawal from this role in 1968, several were converted to type K.2 & the aerial refuelling role.
