Detail image of the markings or Zaps, that were applied to the aircrafts nose. This aircraft flew many trial & research flights around the world, where these Zaps were added. The aircraft flew for The Royal Aircraft Establishment, before joining the British Aircraft Corporation. It also flew as the chase plane for the Concorde program. It was placed in storage in 1975 & subsequently scrapped. This piece of highly decorated skin is all that now remains, & is preserved on display at the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum, Doncaster.
