One of only a handful now left in service with the airline, TUI Airways’ oldest Boeing 757-200 spends another night on Stand 25 at Birmingham Airport, merely one of countless aircraft parked dormant across the country’s airport aprons during the UK’s second national COVID-19 lockdown through November 2020.
First flown in March 2000 for Swiss carrier Balair as HB-IHR, this aircraft entered then-titled Thomson Airways in 2010, before uniting under the TUI brand seven years later.
