‘ Shouneh ‘ the first A321F for RJ as RJ17 / RJA017 from Singapore (XSP) onwards to Amman (AMM) via Abu Dhabi (AUH) on delivery .
This is the only cargo aircraft in RJ fleet as of now as their only cargo A310 JY-AGQ was retired on 30th July 2023 .
This 14.8 year old airframe was delivered on 16th July 2009 to bmi British Midland as G-MEDU and then to British Airways under the same registration on 13th October 2012 after BMI merged into BA . The airframe was withdrawn from use on 26th March 2020 and stored at Glasgow from 31st March to 22nd November 2020 when it flew to Madrid for further storage till 28th June 2023 when BBAM Aircraft Leasing & Management company took the aircraft under D-AATZ registration and converted to cargo at Singapore Seletar (XSP / WSSL) from 30th June 2023 and delivered to Royal Jordanian Airlines on 19th March 2024 as JY-RAZ .
