Owned by Wellesbourne Airfield & maintained by 655MaPS (655 Maintenance and Preservation Society) XM655 remains in ground running condition.
Put up for disposal from the RAF in late 1983, Roy Jacobsen, a businessman with hopes of flying it on the Airshow circuit, purchased XM655. This never happened & ownership passed to the Airfield several years later.
