6E1305 / IGO1305 to Doha (DOH) .

Since August 2024 Indigo has leased 6 Boeing 737-8 MAX from Qatar Airways for operations between India and Doha due to grounding of its A320 family aircraft due to P&W engine issues. Sierra Alpha was the first one to be delivered on 29th July as QR3168 from Doha and joined 6E operations on 01st August as 6E1307 from Delhi (DEL).

With total 9 737MAX delivered to Qatar ,3 aircrafts A7-BSB C and D are with Qatar Airways , the other 6 from A7BSA to BSI have been wet leased to Indigo wherein all aircrafts delivered as QR3168 from Doha to Delhi and entered service as 6E1307 from Delhi to Doha. A7-BSA was delivered on 29th July entered service on 01st August , Sierra Foxtrot was the next to be delivered on 04th August and Sierra Hotel on 06th August and entered operations on 07th August and 09th August respectiverly , 11th August saw the delivery of Sierra India entered service 3 days later on 14th August . After a gap of 8 days Sierra Golf was delivered and entered service on 22nd August and 26th August saw last delivery with Sierra Echo and introduced into the operations on 26th August .

To show the wetlease , airline has added ‘ Operated For Indigo ‘ sticker next to L1 door and below the OneWorld logo.
