Resident of Breighton, together with G-AXMT (U-99) on the apron during golden hour, at a recent nightshoot hosted by the Real Aeroplane Club & organised by the Thomas Castle Aviation Heritage Scholarship.
The type was developed for the Luftwaffe as an advanced trainer. It is also an excellent aerobatic aircraft & dominated the Aerobatic flying in the 1930’s. This example was built in 1940 & is painted in Spanish Air Force colours, as 35-23.
