On static display at Sywell Airshow 2024, this Beechcraft Staggerwing is currently/temporarily painted in this scheme in memory of its late owner Bill Charney. These are the aircrafts original military colours, built in 1943 with the serial FT466 & flying with the Royal Navy as a Beechcraft GB.2. The type was later redesigned as the Traveller Mk.1.
This aircraft is normally painted red, as the Red Rockette, with the slightly longer registration of NC16S.
