On display at the Midland Air Museum at Coventry Airport (formerly Baginton Aerodrome) this Iskra wore the registration 408 during service with the Polish Air Force.
Developed & manufactured in Poland, this type was the first domestically developed jet aircraft made in the country. Used by the air forces of Poland & India as a jet trainer, Iskra translates in English as Spark.
The type is flown by the Polish Air Force aerobatic demonstration team, Team Iskry or Bialo-Czerwone Iskry (White & Red Sparks).
