Pelita Air Service officially introduced the new livery along with the arrival of two Airbus A320 aircraft on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten. The arrival of the two aircraft with the appearance of their new livery is in preparation for Pelita Air to expand its services to the regular flight segment.
The new livery displayed on planes flying from Montpellier Airport, France (MPL) and Sharjah International Airport – United Arab Emirates (SHJ) is named “Ribbon” livery. Named “Ribbon” livery because the livery resembles a ribbon that covers the tail and part of the fuselage with three colors that can be interpreted as religion and freedom of expression. The three colors on the livery are also the colors of Pertamina’s identity as the parent company of Pelita Air.
Previously, Pelita Air only provides charter flights. This became the airline’s first scheduled flight for the airline with their new A320
