Earlier this week, Las Vegas Sands Corporation’s sole remaining 747SP was ferried to Kansas City (MCI) for what might be the final time, citing new ownership possibly with the TWA museum. With the possible retirement of this SP, the number of airworthy 747SP’s decreases to two (Both with Pratt & Whitney) I believe. Here is BLK getting sun soaked on the Sands ramp at Las Vegas.
Hopefully someone picks this beauty up and keeps her going for years to come.
