One of the IL-114 prototypes seen at the Paris Airshow in June 1991. The Ilyushin IL-114 is intended to replace the Antonov An-24, it first flew in 1990. A total of 20 Il-114s have been built of which 6 have flown with Uzbekistan Airways but were retired in 2018 . Because the An-24’s are now getting very old there is a new drive to get this aircraft back in production. A modernised version (IL-114-300) flew for he first time on 16th December 2020.
