Delivered to BA in May 1998, after 22 years of service Victor Whiskey was withdrawn from use on 29th March 2020 due to travel restrictions during Covid-19 pandemic, storage spells at Bournemouth & Cardiff before being ferried to Dunsfold Aerodrome on 22nd October 2020 for use as a commercial film set and training facility.
In July 2022 painted in Kuwait Airways 1970s livery to represent Boeing 747-200 9K-ADB for a film about a hijacking of Flight 422 in 1988, wing tips removed and windows were painted over to make it look more like a 747-200, the Kuwait Airways livery was removed with the blue paint still visible on the ground in the picture
