Aviation Capital Group (ACG) positions into Birmingham with the latest aircraft leaving long-term storage at Cornwall’s Newquay Airport this year, heading for checks inside STS Aviation’s hangar on the Elmdon side of the airfield.
A321 VP-CCH currently still bears the full scheme of her previous operator, the much-loved UK holiday giant Thomas Cook – incidentally, the one-off livery advertising the group’s chain of ‘Cook’s Club’ hotels – which flew as the ‘I Love Cook’s Club’ logojet G-TCDV whilst in Thomas Cook Airlines’ service. Since sadly ceasing operations, and with the Thomas Cook Group entering administration on 23rd September 2019, the aircraft has been stored in the UK since then.
