VT-AFO, the first of two 737s for India’s newest cargo airline- Afcom Cargo, resting at the apron. Starting its life in April 2000 with Futura as EC-HJJ, this BCF went through various lessor-lessee cycles with Ryan International Airlines, Viking Airlines, Sunwing Airlines, Yakutia, and eventually N671FL with Flightlease, before being leased to its current operator. Operated by Afcom Holdings Ltd, the airline is based out of Chennai, India, and will begin operations with two leased Boeing 737. The operator plans to connect India to other ASEAN regions across.
