Resident of Breighton, here performing an engine run at the inaugural Breighton nightshoot, hosted by the Real Aeroplane Club & organised by the Thomas Castle Aviation Heritage Scholarship.
The type was developed for the Luftwaffe as an advanced trainer. It is also an excellent aerobatic aircraft & dominated the Aerobatic flying in the 1930’s.
This example was built in 1938 & is painted in Swiss Air Force colours, as U-99
