NASA817 lines up onto 16R to start its first flight with the EcoDemonstrator 737-10 MAX to test and “sniff” fuel emissions on her penultimate deployment before being retired in April of 2024. The tests studied the different exhaust profiles of sustainable fuel compared to normal jet fuel.
