No tribute to Lufty’s A380 is complete without a night gate shot at HKG. Lufthansa sent its A380s to Asia’s World City pretty much throughout its service period – both on the Frankfurt route and later on the Munich route when 747-8is were subbed onto the Frankfurt flight. It’s a shame to see the last one of these German behemoths sent into storage today.
