The Swedish Air Force Historic Flight’s sole single-seat Saab Viggen ‘Gustav 52’, from the Flgyvapnet’s Skaraborgs Flygflottilj F7 at Såtenäs taxies out to the Runway 26 threshold at Jersey Airport, departing to Trollhättan–Vänersborg Airport at the end of the 2021 Jersey International Air Display.
Although weather delays and a change to the planned schedule the day before prevented their display over the island for the crowds around St Aubin’s Bay, the SwAFHF managed to bring two other ex-military aircraft to the island for the show – itself returning after 2020’s cancelled event due to the COVID-19 pandemic – with their SK-35C Draken SE-DXP and J-32B Lansen SE-RMD also in much-anticipated attendance.
