    On 22nd November, 2020, the United States officially withdrawn from Open Skies Treaty and has begun the process to shed the OC-135B Open Skies aircraft from active inventory. The aircraft have become to cost-prohibitive to remain in active service and the parts they can provide for ageing fleet of E-3 as the one of the last aircraft flying with the Pratt and Whitney JT3D (TF33) engines, the aircraft can provide much needed parts and supply for the E3 program
